About
Fabric is a Dublin based interior design studio set up by myself, Lisa Hayes. Fabric encompasses all aspects of design where interiors, architecture and landscape are woven together. The word fabric references both material and form - ‘the fabric of a building.’ Consideration is given to all elements of design, both inside and out.
I have a particular interest in using authentic materials, along with pieces inspired by the natural world. I aim to source quality and sustainable items while meeting the needs of each client within their budget.
Communication
I aim to get the best use out of each space, maximising functionality and style. I work with the client to explore existing spaces and come up with creative solutions to co-design carefully considered spaces.
Design
I am a firm believer in a collaborative approach, working with the client on each project to come up to a design that caters for, and is reflective of their lifestyle. The client’s preferences are at the heart of every project.
Detail
I look at contextual references, be it architectural or environmental, to inform and inspire the detail of the design. I work closely with architects, construction workers, tradespeople, craftspeople and artists, ensuring the essence of the design is retained.
